Brief Program Summary
The WIMSE program provides opportunities for female students and faculty in the mathematics, science and engineering fields to interact. The goal of the program is to foster the participation and retention of female students in these fields. This community living unit, housed in Jennie Murphree Hall, provides support for women in these academic areas by offering role models, guest speakers, panel discussions, mentoring, advising assistance, research internships, tutoring and opportunities for field trips.
