Brief Program Summary
At GFU we are seeking to integrate the curricular and co-curricular, enrich the learning environment, and challenge students. We have six houses and one apartment complex that house 6 different Living and Learning Communities. Each community has a Faculty Advisor and a House Manager. The areas of interest include: Spanish, Quaker heritage, Mentorship, Classic Spiritual Disciplines, Christian leadership and service, and Cross-cultural awareness.

All halls are fully wired to the internet.

The Role of Community Partnerships
Each community performs a community service project each semester. Contact with the community varies according to the project.

The Role of Leadership Development
Each community has a House Manager (paid by the Residence Life Department) or a house leader. Each leader is also given a yearly stipend through the institutional budget. Each leader meets twice a month with their faculty sponsor and once a month with the program director for continued leadership development and support.
