Brief Program Summary
WIMSE (Women in math, science and engineering)is a residential program that offers a supportive environment for women studying mathematics, science and engineering, traditionally male-dominated fields. The program provides faculty interaction through workshops and special programs. Students also work with younger women through mentoring programs with local science fairs. Social, academic, mentoring, and career-related programming is implemented by staff, students and faculty throughout the year.

Keeping upperclass students involved in the program. They often want to live off-campus in quieter apartments, where they can focus on their studies, or in buildings nearer to the computer labs.
